'Soon-to-be Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu; midnight special permission'

CHENNAI: Senior AIADMK leader RB Udhayakumar made a nasty comment at actress Trisha, involving the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Vijay. Udhayakumar added that Vijay will soon make Trisha the Deputy Chief Minister, and he said that no one but the actress had access to the Chief Minister at midnight and cut the cake.

Earlier, Udhayakumar had also come out against the state government's undeclared holiday on the release day of Vijay's film Jana Nayagan. He had also accused the administration, from the Chief Minister to the ministers, of leaving their work to watch the movie.

Rumours went rife regarding Trisha and Vijay after his wife Sangeetha Sornalingam alleged the actor of an extramarital affair with an actress. Sangeetha filed a petition in the Chengalpettu family court alleging infidelity. Netizens adjudged the actress to be Trisha, while she also came under severe cyber-attack.

Trisha and Vijay first worked together in the 2004 superhit film 'Ghilli' and later went on to become a popular pair in Tamil cinema with films including Thiruppachi, Aadhi, Kuruvi and the recent release Leo.
