Tragedy in Bengaluru: Malayali nursing students Gouri Shankar and Atul killed in bike accident

BENGALURU: Two nursing students from Kerala lost their lives in a tragic road accident here after their motorcycle lost control and crashed into a median divider.
The deceased have been identified as Gouri Shankar, 22, son of Girish Kumar from Perumpilly, Mulanthuruthy in Ernakulam, and Athul, 22, a native of Sreekandapuram in Kannur.
According to local authorities, the accident occurred near the Rajarajeswari Dental College in Kengeri. Both victims were final-year B.Sc. Nursing students at the BGS College of Nursing in Kengeri.
The duo was travelling from Mysuru to Bengaluru when their motorcycle reportedly veered out of control and struck the road divider. The impact of the collision resulted in fatal injuries for both students.
Following the incident, their bodies were moved to the Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination. Local police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
