Made image of seal and sign using cam scanner, took logo from google; Vidya forged document to beat senior

KASARGOD: It has been found that former SFI leader K Vidya forged the document to beat her senior. K Rasitha, Vidya's senior and acquaintance at Kalady University, was eligible for the appointment at Karinthalam Government College in Kasaragod.

Rasitha and Vidya came for an interview at Uduma College in 2021. However, Rasitha, who was more eligible that Vidya, was appointed. Vidya knew in advance that Rasitha would come for the interview in Karinthalam in 2022. The police found that Vidya forged the experience certificate in the name of Maharajas College to come first. Vidya arrested by the Neeleswaram police in the case of producing a fake certificate, was granted an interim bail.

Vidya told police that the text in the certificate was typed on her mobile phone. The college seal, designation seal and signature from the certificate received from Maharajas College for Aspire Fellowship was scanned using a cam scanner and made into an image. The logo of the college was downloaded from google. The certificate was made including all these. She also told police that the mobile phone on which the certificate was made was abandoned as it got damaged after falling down.
