Car slips into gorge at dangerous Zojila Pass; Four Malayalis suffer drastic death

SRINAGAR: In a tragic incident, five people including four Malayalis died in a road accident in Jammu Kashmir on Tuesday. The accident took place when the car, which was going to Sonam Marg, overturned near Zojila Pass in Srinagar. Sudheesh, Anil, Vignesh and Rahul, who were tourists from Kerala endured this tragic fate while on their vacation.

Ijaz Ahmed, a native of Jammu and Kashmir, who drove the vehicle also died in the crash. Apart from the driver, there were seven people in the car. According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, except for two people who were badly injured, all other passengers died.

The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to a hospital in Srinagar. The injured ones are also undergoing treatment at the hospital.
