Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim hospitalized in Pakistan

KARACHI: Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim has been hospitalized following serious health issues. The authorities released the information this morning of his hospitalization at Karachi in Pakistan, two days ago. It was circulated on social media that Dawood Ibrahim had consumed poison. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard yet.

There is tight security in the hospital. Only senior doctors and immediate family members are allowed entry. Other patients of the hospital have been shifted from the floor where Dawood Ibrahim is admitted. Mumbai Police is seeking more information from his relatives Alisha Parker and Sajid Wagle.

His nephew, son of Dawood’s sister Hasina Parker had informed the NIA that 1993 Mumbai terror attack mastermind Dawood Ibrahim was living in Karachi after his second marriage. Dawood Ibrahim lives in Defense Zone near Abdullah Ghazi Baba Dargah in Karachi. His second wife belongs to the Pak Pathan community. Hasina Parker's son also said that Dawood has not divorced his first wife Mehjabeen. Records showing divorce from first wife are incorrect. On special days, he talks to his first wife on the phone. His nephew also said that they communicate through WhatsApp calls.
