First Kerala to Ayodhya train to commence tomorrow

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Frst train from Kerala to Ayodhya will depart tomorrow, flagged off at Kochuveli station in Thiruvananthapuram. The Ayodhya Yatra led by the BJP, requires passengers to purchase tickets. The party will facilitate food, accommodation and sightseeing.

ASTA special trains will operate from Kerala to Ayodhya, with the inaugural train departing from Kochuveli tomorrow. Ticket price from Kochuveli to Ayodhya is Rs 3300. Special train services were earlier announced from Nagercoil, Thiruvananthapuram and Palakkad, but the initial service scheduled for January 30 was later cancelled.

The yatra aims to bring half a lakh people daily to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya until March 25 with a thousand participants from each constituency including Kerala. Accommodation and food will be provided.
