'The biggest problem of workers is waste of money despite hard work', says KB Ganesh Kumar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar said that KSRTC will be straightened to some extent in two and a half years. He added that the biggest problem that bothers the workers is waste despite their hard work and money. Minister Ganesh Kumar was speaking on the topic of future of public transport at MBIFL.

"Ten percent of the employees of KSRTC are problematic. The remaining 90 percent are hard workers. The biggest problem that bothers the workers is waste despite working hard and paying money. If that is solved, KSRTC will be better. We will bring software that will make KSRTC at fingertips. Permission has been taken from the Chief Minister for this," said Ganesh Kumar.

He also responded to the electric bus controversy. 'What I said was distorted by some media. So far, electric buses have not been successful anywhere. That is what he was trying to point out' - the minister said. The minister stated that he will not back down from the decision to tighten the driving test conditions and will implement the license reform regardless of any opposition.
