THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Siddique, actor and former general secretary of AMMA, has approached the court seeking a copy of the complaint and FIR in the sexual assault case. An application in this regard was submitted to the First Class Magistrate Court. The magistrate will record the complainant's confidential statement against Siddique today.

The police investigation found that the actress and Siddique were in the same hotel and the two were together for the preview show on the days mentioned in the complaint by the actress. The actress complained that Siddique called her to the Mascot Hotel for film discussions, locked her up and abused her. The police have recorded the complainant's statement. It has been stated that Siddique, who met the actress through social media, invited her to the Mascot Hotel for a movie discussion after the preview show of the film 'Sukhamayirikkatte' at the Nila Theater in 2016.

Parents were with her at this time. Later, when she reached the hotel, Siddique locked her in the room and abused her. She somehow escaped from there. The actress also alleges that this incident happened when she was 21 years old. The actress has handed over a note posted on social media in 2018 and news about the same in online media in 2021. Siddique has also been charged with unlawful detain and intimidation. Siddique had complained to the DGP that there was a conspiracy behind the complaint. It is reported that the police have initiated procedures to arrest Siddique.
