Student drowns in sea at Adimalathura in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a tragic incident, a student drowned in the sea in Adimalathura on Thursday. Jeevan, a native of Venganoor, died in the incident. The search is underway for Parthasarathy, a native of Pattoor, who was with him. Both are first-year PG students of Kanjiramkulam Government College.

The incident happened today at noon. The students went to take a dip in the sea but were swept away by strong waves. The local fishermen rescued a few and rushed them to the hospital. However, Jeevan’s life could not be saved.
