Entrepreneur C.K. Menon passes away

THRISSUR: Prominent entrepreneur and Norka Roots vice-chairman Adv. C.K. Menon (70) passed away on Tuesday evening. He was admitted at Apollo Hospital in Chennai after suffering a heart attack where he breathed his last. Death was at 7 pm. The dead body will be taken to the residence in Thrissur. C.K. Menon, son of Narayanan Nair and Karthyayani was born in 1949.

He was honoured with several prizes including Padmashri and Pravasi Samman. He owns several companies worldwide that employs over 4000 people like Behzad Transports, Bhavans Public School, Oriental Bakery, Behzad Trading Enterprises and so on.

Funeral will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday at Paramekkavu Crematorium in Thrissur.

The mortal remains will be kept for public showing at his Ernakulam residence from 10 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 5 pm at residence in Thrissur Patturaykal.
