Vishwas Mehta to be appointed as Chief Information Commissioner

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Secretary Vishwas Mehta will be appointed as the new Chief Information Commissioner of Kerala. The decision was taken following an online meeting attended by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala and Law Minister AK Balan.


It must be noted that Vishwas Mehta is set to retire as Chief Secretary on February 28.
