KOCHI: Kerala's Hilly Aqua bottled water became a hit in the Dubai market also. The first 51,228 litres of bottled water exported a month ago have all sold out. The company is importing it from the UAE's Arona General Trading LLC. Dubai Municipal representatives will soon arrive in Kerala ahead of the next order.
The Kerala Irrigation Infrastructure Development Corporation and Arona Company signed a memorandum of understanding last October to distribute Hilly Aqua bottled water in six GCC countries. Subsequently, Dubai Municipal representatives visited the Hilly Aqua plants a month ago and ensured the quality of the water.
