Case against Bigg Boss fame for attacking doctor with sharp weapons

PUNE: A case has been registered against Bigg Boss fame on the complaint of attacking a doctor at his house. The case is against Bigg Boss Marathi contestant and social media influencer Divya Shinde. The complaint says she barged into his house, attacked the doctor and then looted his car. A case has been registered against eight people including Divya.

The complaint was filed by Dr Vidyadhar Gaikwad, former chief medical officer of the Pune Cantonment Board. His complaint alleged that he received threatening calls demanding Rs 5 lakh for an event. Divya Shinde arrived at his house with a group of people on September 17 and repeated the demand. The complaint said that he continued to face threats of being assaulted by hired goons if failed to pay the money.

The doctor’s complaint said that on Thursday night, a 10-member gang, including Divya Shinde, forcibly entered his house and attacked him. He claimed that he was beaten with sharp weapons and a belt. The complaint also stated that the group vandalised household items and took away his car.

A case has been registered based on the doctor's complaint, and an investigation is underway under the leadership of assistant police inspector Amit Shetty.
