Income Tax Department raids 12 locations linked to Allu Arjun’s heroine Rakul Preet

MUMBAI: Income Tax raids are underway at several locations linked to Bollywood and South Indian actress Rakul Preet Singh. Searches are also being conducted at locations linked to Rakul's father-in-law and film producer Vashu Bhagnani and Mumbai-based Panorama Studios.

The raids are being conducted at 12 locations in connection with alleged financial irregularities. Investigators suspect that money was being transferred abroad under the guise of film production.

Last year, the Mumbai Police had investigated Rakul’s brother Aman Preet Singh in connection with a drug case. On December 19, 2025, two businessmen were arrested for allegedly selling drugs during a joint operation by the Eagle Force and the West Zone Police. The police seized 43 grams of cocaine and 11.5 grams of MDMA from them. The investigation was based on suspicion that Aman had purchased drugs from the two alleged sellers on five occasions.
