NTA introduces new changes for NEET, exam duration made 3.15 hours, four pages for rough work

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced student-friendly changes in the NEET UG exam. The agency said the changes have been made to make the exam fair, secure and in line with the needs of the candidates. The new changes will come into effect from the NEET exam to be held on June 21.

According to the new changes, the duration of the exam has been revised to 195 minutes (3.15 hours). The exam has been newly scheduled from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The number of papers given for rough work in the question paper booklet has been increased. Earlier, it was two pages and now it has been made four.

Also, the rough work page has been changed from the previous one in the last pages of the booklet. Now, two rough work pages will be found after the instructions page and the remaining two pages will be at the end of the question paper. Signing the attendance sheet and invigilation procedures will continue before the exam.
