Six-year-old boy collapses and dies after teacher slaps him for not doing homework

AMRAVATHI: A six-year-old boy collapsed and died after being slapped by his teacher for not doing his homework. The dead is Pranay Teja, a student of a private school in One Town area of Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh. The CCTV footage of the teacher slapping the boy has emerged. The CCTV footage shows the boy collapsing onto the teacher's body shortly after she slapped him.

The family said the boy after waking up around 8 am on Thursday morning, his son insisted on going to school and that he was very healthy when he went. The family alleged that Pranay Teja collapsed after his teacher slapped him for not doing his homework. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but was declared dead on reaching the school. Meantime, the family is demanding strict action against those responsible for the incident.
