THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The land on which the AKG Centre, the former state committee office of the CPI(M), stands will be surveyed and measured tomorrow following a High Court order. The survey will be conducted at 10 am tomorrow in connection with the court's directive. The order was issued on a petition filed by R. Sashikumar alleging that land had been encroached upon.

The Revenue Department has directed the Thiruvananthapuram Tahsildar to carry out the measurement. A Division Bench headed by Chief Justice Soumen Sen issued the direction to the government.
The Tahsildar has also issued a notice asking representatives of the AKG Centre for Research and Studies to be present during the survey proceedings.
