Class 9 student loses two toes after getting trapped in wild boar snare in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Class 9 student lost two toes after getting trapped in a wild boar snare in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday morning. The injured student has been identified as Abhinav, a native of Karette in Thiruvananthapuram. The accident occurred when he accidentally stepped into a wild boar trap that had been set up on a private property.

The incident left Abhinav with severe injuries, resulting in the loss of two toes on his left foot. He was first rushed to a nearby private hospital before being shifted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital for further treatment. The Kilimanoor police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
