Former Santosh Trophy player Paulson passes away

ALUVA: Paulson (66), a former officer of the Thoothukudi Port Trust and a Santosh Trophy football player, passed away on Friday. Paulson of Karuveli House, Netaji Road, Aluva, was known as Junior Kamal Haasan in the locality. Along with football, he excelled in mimicry, monoact and drama. He played the Santosh Trophy for Tamil Nadu six times. Paulson worked at the Thoothukudi Port Trust for 38 years and retired in 2023 as an assistant traffic manager. He was the captain of the Kerala School Football team in the All India School Football held in Kashmir in 1978. He was a member of the first batch of the Kerala Sports Hostel that started in 1979.

Family members:

Wife: Helen Paulson. Children: Barito and Bonina. The funeral will be held at 3 pm on Saturday at St. Dominic's Church Cemetery.
