THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Ranni MLA Adv. Pazhakulam Madhu has submitted a complaint to the Legislative Assembly Speaker alleging large-scale corruption in the 'e-Niyamasabha' project aimed at digitising the Legislative Assembly. In the complaint submitted to Speaker Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, the MLA demanded a fair investigation into the serious lapses and irregularities allegedly committed by the contractor, Uralungal Labour Contract Co-operative Society (ULCCS), which handled the project.

He alleged that the implementation of the project faced major delays and that several irregular activities took place on the part of the contractor. Despite serious allegations being raised in connection with the project, the issues were allegedly ignored and the lapses were regularised, which amounted to corruption, he said in the complaint.

It was in this context that the MLA approached the Speaker with the demand for an urgent investigation against the Uralungal Cooperative Society.
