THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The investigation in connection with the irregularities in the PSC Planning Board exam to extend to top officials. The investigation is presently underway into the lapses related to evaluation. The statements of three officials related to question paper evaluation were taken. The statements of the deputy general secretary, junior superintendent and system analyst were recorded. A detailed investigation will be conducted into whether there was a lapse in the verification of descriptive answers and whether there was any nepotism in the exercise of discretionary powers.

Meantime, more candidates stepped forward with allegations of irregularities in PSC. A complaint has been raised that the rank list was sabotaged and notification was issued in the KERAFED appointment. There are allegations that the notification was issued by hiding the case in the high court. Candidates say that this is to include their favoured candidates. There are indications that a special investigation team has sought information from the complainants in the incident. The candidates allege mystery in PSC chairman's involvement.
