Students clash in mid of road; one seriously injured after being hit with helmet

KOCHI: A students’ fight was witnessed in the middle of the road on Ernakulam South Janatha Road last night. The clash was between the students of Thevara S H College and students of Law College.

The clash started when two students of Thevara S H College and their friends arrived at a tea shop in the area. The students of Law College were also there at that time. In the meantime, a sudden provocation resulted in the clash. A youth who fell to the ground was hit on the head with a helmet. He then filed a complaint with the Palarivattom police. Reports say that a case has not been registered. The police said that a case will be registered after collecting more information from the student.
