‘She lived for us, how can I be angry with her?’ Resna’s mother breaks her silence

Actress Resna, who won the hearts of Malayalam television audiences with her dual roles in the superhit serial Parijatham, is known for playing the twin characters Aruna and Seema. The two characters she portrayed in the serial remain memorable to her viewers even today.

Reports are circulating that the actress, who has been away from acting since her marriage, is estranged from her family. Now, her mother, Sajitha, has stepped forward responding to it.

Sajitha now openly speaks about how much money Resna earned through acting contributed to securing their family's future. When she left her husband's house with her two children and with no job, she had no way forward. She said Resna began acting when she was in the ninth class and that the serial Parijatham was a turning point in their lives.

She added that they build a house of their own using the money Resna earned from acting along with a loan, and the profits from that investment are what help her live a comfortable life today.

‘Still had some house construction loan left to repay when Rasna told me about her relationship and that she would only act for one more year. It was a huge shock to me when I heard it. I had some objections and concerns about the marriage then. She insisted that before getting married, she wanted to use the money she earned to pay off the entire housing loan and ensure that we were financially secure. She eventually paid off the entire loan with her earnings.

Whatever people may say or criticize her for, it was her hard work that gave us a house to live in and secured our future.

She also said that many people ask her whether she still talks to her daughter. She questioned how a mother could ever be angry with a daughter who had lived for her family. Many people ask me whether I still talk to Resna. How can we be upset with our children? When a daughter has lived for us, how can we ever be angry with her?

‘I was the one who took care of her during all three of her deliveries. After her first delivery, I stayed with her for a year,’ she added.
