Kollam native youth nabbed with 'Kush' hybrid ganja

KOLLAM: The Excise Department has nabbed a youth for possession of MDMA and ganja. The arrested youth has been identified as Kollam Thazhuthala native Naufal (31). 12.497 grams of MDMA and 2.860 grams of hybrid ganja named 'Kush' were seized from him. The bike used by the accused to smuggle the drugs was also taken into custody by the Excise.

The drugs were seized during an inspection conducted by the Excise team led by Kollam Enforcement and Anti Narcotic Special Squad Circle Inspector Shiju SS. The other members of the team are Excise Inspector Dileep CP, Assistant Excise Inspectors (grade) J Nirmalan Thampi, KG Raghu, IB Preventive Officer Bijumon, Civil Excise Officers Jojo J, Julian Cruz, Sooraj PS, Ajith BS, Aneesh MR, Sunil Jose, Women Civil Excise Officers Varsha Vivek, Ganga G and Civil Excise Officer Driver Subhash.
