Stepfather arrested for brutally torturing children aged 5 and 13

KASARGOD: The stepfather of children aged 5 and 13 has been arrested for brutally torturing the children. A neighbor captured the visuals of beating the five-year-old boy and handed it over to the police. The police later arrested the stepfather identified as Shoukath Ali. Reports say that he has been torturing the children for about three months.

The children's father also gave a statement to the police in this regard. The children's parents got separated three years ago. Three children and their mother live with their stepfather. Reports say that he has been torturing the children for no reason. The neighbor noticed the incident after hearing the cries of the boy.

He shot the video and sent it to the police. The police then called the child's father. He came to know about the harassment only then. The child was admitted to the Kasaragod hospital for an examination. The children’s father said that they were with him until the last four months. Children aged 5, 9 and 13 were later left with their mother as per the court order.
