KOZHIKODE: The body of the child who was swept away in the Kuttiyadi river was found on Saturday night after an extensive search. The body of seven-year-old Sivanand has now been found. His mother, Ramya, was swept away while trying to save him. The accident took place in the Thottathamkandi area of ​​Paleri. Subeesh's wife Ramya (35), who was working as a pharmacist in Paleri, died in the incident.

The accident took place at 5 am today. Ramya had gone to the river to wash clothes with her son. Meanwhile, Sivanand slipped and fell into the river. Ramya tried to save the child but fell into the river. Ramya was rescued by the locals and taken to the Kuttiyadi Taluk Hospital, but she died before reaching the hospital. The rescue operation was carried out by the locals and the fire brigade.
