
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Power outages are likely in four northern districts of Kerala, including Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod, due to maintenance work at the substation. Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) reported that the 220 kV bushing of the 3rd No. 500 MVA transformer at the Kozhikode 400 kV substation has failed. The repair of this transformer will require power regulation, KSEB said. KSEB also clarified that the Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has informed that it will take time till May 25 to complete the repair work.
