Congress ahead in Telangana; BRS facing stiff competition, BJP in fourth place

HYDERABAD: The congress is leading in Telangana confirming the exit poll results. As the counting of votes is progressing in the state, the Congress is close to an absolute majority. Out of the 119 seats where the polls were held, the Congress is leading in 63 seats. BRS, which is in power in the state, is leading in only about 25 seats. If the trend continues, it will be the first time that India's youngest state will test another party in power.
