‘I’ve only one daughter, please find my child,’ search intensifies for Mary

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There are reports that a two-year-old girl who went missing from Pettah was taken away in a vehicle. A person from Eenchakal reached the police station and informed about this.

His statement is that a middle-aged man and a youth jointly abducted the girl in their scooter at 12.30 am. He said that he saw the girl sitting in the middle of the scooter. The scooter had slowed down due to the hump and he said that is why he was able to see her. The police have collected the CCTV visuals of the area.

The girl’s family were living in the area just before All Saints College after Brahmos Centre. There are reports of obtaining visuals of two people in a bike at midnight from the vicinity of the child's disappearance.

One can go to places including Kollam and Kazhakoottam from All Saints College. Therefore, an extensive investigation is being conducted. Mary, daughter of Amardeep and Rabina Devi of LP Nagar in Hyderabad, was abducted early Monday morning.

‘She was found missing when we woke up at 12. We have four children and has only one daughter. Please find my child,’ said the couple.

Meantime, the investigation is progressing in five groups. The parents of the child, who are street vendors, reached Thiruvananthapuram at the end of last month.
