'Shine Tom Chacko will be banned from films for the time being; Vincy Aloshious had contacted FEFKA': General Secretary B Unnikrishnan

KOCHI: FEFKA will temporarily suspend actor Shine Tom Chacko from films. FEFKA General Secretary B Unnikrishnan informed the media about this at a press conference held in Kochi. "Shine Tom requested us to give him one more chance. However, we will take a tough stand. We are currently waiting for the ICC report," B Unnikrishnan said.

"Vincy Aloshious had contacted FEFKA regarding the complaint related to the movie 'Soothravakyam'. Vincy had requested that the actor's name and the name of the movie not be revealed. She was asked to file a complaint with the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) as per the law. When FEFKA is moving forward with anti-drug activities, it will not be acceptable if AMMA members behave in such a way."

"We summoned Shine Tom Chacko. Shine told us that he uses drugs. FEFKA discussed it with AMMA. We informed him that it would be difficult to move forward with cinema in this way. We cannot cooperate with people who are involved in drugs. FEFKA had fired the makeup artist who was caught with drugs," said B Unnikrishnan.
