THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Finance Minister Dr Thomas Isaac while presenting the budget said ten kilograms of rice will be given to 50 lakh blue and white card holders for Rs 15 per kilo. An Integrated Expatriate Employment Scheme for NRIs who have lost their jobs was announced and an amount of Rs 100 crore has been set apart for the project. An amount of Rs 30 crore has been announced for relief activities. Elderly taking medicines for lifestyle diseases will be delivered home.
