CALIFORNIA: Two Malayali women were found dead in the United States under mysterious circumstances. As per emerging reports, it is a case of murder purportedly committed by a friend of the two women. Thrissur Mannuthy native Anjana (35), daughter of Haridasan-Sushma couple and Ann, a native of Chingavanam, were killed in the incident.
As per information received by the relatives of the victims, the Kottayam native woman was murdered inside her apartment, while Anjana was summoned to the ground floor of the same apartment and murdered.
Reports suggest that a woman named Anila carried out the twin murders. Anila also lived in the same apartment. Vilangalur native Vijeesh is Anjana’s husband. The murder took place while Vijeesh was out for work. More details are awaited.
As per new reports:
The three families lived together in the same building. Anjana's relatives learned of the death last night. It is reported that after killing Ann, a native of Chingavanam, in the room of the apartment, Anila summoned Anjana downstairs and ran her over with a car. Anjana's husband, Vijeesh, recognised the car that fled without stopping. Vijeesh immediately informed Jacob, Ann's husband, about the tragic incident. Jacob tried contacting Ann on the phone but to no avail. When he reached the apartment, he found Ann lying soaked in blood. Anjana and her husband Vijeesh have been working in California for the past eight years.
