Misbehaved during house surgency; lady doctor files complaint

KOCHI: A lady doctor filed a sexual abuse complaint against a doctor of Ernakulam General Hospital. The complaint is that the senior doctor misbehaved with her while she was doing house surgency. The incident related to the case happened in 2019.

The lady doctor is presently not in station. She lodged the complaint to the director of health department and hospital superintendent via e-mail. The superintendent said the complaint will be handed over to the police after detailed examination.

The lady doctor had conveyed about it to her colleagues soon after the incident. However, had not complained then. She posted on Facebook with more disclosure about this. Following that, she had lodged a complaint the other day.
