65-year-old man in custody for stabbing wife to death in Kothamangalam 

KOCHI: A 65-year-old man has been taken into custody for stabbing his wife to death in Ernakulam’s Kothamangalam. The dead has been identified as Kunjamma aged 61. Her husband Kuriakose has been taken into custody in connection with the incident by the Kothamangalam police.

The incident happened Tuesday morning at 2 am. The murder was committed when no one else was at home. Kuriakose himself informed his son, who is abroad, about the murder. He then informed the neighbours and on being informed, the police arrived.

The incident happened when Kuriakose was resting at home after a surgery. Family issues are cited to be the reason for the murder.
