THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Lok Bhavan is planning for a strong intervention in the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) appointment scam case. Governor Rajendra Arlekar summoned PSC Secretary Saju George. The secretary met the Governor without the knowledge of the PSC Chairman. The Governor sought details from the secretary over the examination scam. However, the Raj Bhavan clarified that the secretary was not summoned and that he had voluntarily provided an explanation.

The Governor asked the secretary what action had been taken on complaints regarding the irregularities in PSC examinations. The secretary replied that the PSC was cooperating with the crime branch investigation. The secretary also informed the Governor that complaints related to examinations are investigated by the PSC’s internal intelligence wing and appropriate action is taken based on the findings.
