Holiday declared in this district tomorrow; schools, colleges and other educational institutions to remain closed

KASARAGOD: A holiday has been declared for educational institutions in the district following warnings of heavy rainfall. The holiday will be applicable to professional colleges, schools, nurseries, Kendriya Vidyalayas, CBSE and ICSE schools, tuition centres, and madrasas. The India Meteorological Department has forecast an orange alert for Kasaragod tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the holiday is not applicable to residential schools. There will also be no change to pre-scheduled university examinations and interviews.
