KOCHI: Online taxi drivers in Kochi have announced a service boycott starting tomorrow, reigniting a dispute over fare revisions.
Drivers and representatives had scheduled talks with company officials today to press demands for a fare increase. Upon arriving for the meeting, however, they found the Uber office locked.
Organisers said the strike is a response to being summoned and allegedly humiliated by the company, accusing Uber of playing hide-and-seek to avoid negotiations.
