Lucky Monday ahead? Pooja Bumper lottery tickets go on sale today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sales of Pooja Bumper lottery tickets, carrying a first prize of Rs 12 crore, will begin on Monday, Kerala Lottery Department Director Anju K.S. said.

A maximum of 45 lakh tickets will be sold in five series — JA, JB, JC, JD and JE. Tickets will be printed in different phases depending on the progress of sales. Each ticket is priced at Rs 300.

The second prize of Rs 50 lakh will be awarded to 10 winners, while the third prize of Rs 5 lakh will go to 10 winners. The fourth prize of Rs 3 lakh will be awarded to five winners and the fifth prize of Rs 2 lakh each to 10 winners. A consolation prize of Rs 1 lakh each will be given to four winners. The prize structure also includes Rs 5,000 for 8,100 winners, Rs 1,000 for 64,800 winners, Rs 500 for 1,29,600 winners and Rs 300 for 1,40,400 winners, with a total prize amount of Rs 39,11,20,000.

The Pooja Bumper draw will be held at 2 pm on November 28 at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. The director advised people to purchase only printed tickets sold through authorised agents and sellers via lottery district offices and sub-offices. She also warned people against booking tickets or making payments through fake websites operating in the name of Kerala Lotteries or through WhatsApp.
