Kuttanad MLA Reji Cherian's car meets with accident in Alappuzha, biker critically injured

ALAPPUZHA: Suneesh (22), a native of Nedumudi, suffered serious injuries after his bike hit MLA Reji Cherian's car. The MLA was returning after attending the boat race in Champakulam. Suneesh is undergoing treatment at the Alappuzha Medical College Hospital. The MLA also sustained a knee injury. The incident took place at Thekkekkara junction on the Mankombu-Champakulam road at around 8.15 pm last night. Police said the speeding bike hit the car. The MLA called an ambulance and took the youth to the hospital. The police will file a case in the incident.
