Scooterist dies after collision with goods auto in Perambra; injured daughter under treatment

KOZHIKODE: A scooterist died after being hit by a goods auto at Perambra in Kozhikode. The accident happened at Eravattur in Perambra. The dead has been identified as Vala Edakoth Meethal Raghavan (51). The accident took place Friday night at around 10 pm.

Raghavan’s daughter Anamika, who was with him, sustained minor injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital. The accident happened when Raghavan was returning home after picking Anamika from her work place Grand House in Perambra. The police have seized the vehicle as it fled without stopping after the accident.
