'Won't allow anyone to personally attack Tini, Ansiba should have raised complaint within AMMA'

KOCHI: Actress Priyanka Anoop has come out in support of actor Tini Tom following the allegations raised by actress Ansiba Hassan. Priyanka said she would not allow anyone to “tear apart” Tini Tom personally and added that she would stand by him.

She also alleged that a “character assassination” campaign is being carried out against the actor. According to Priyanka, if Ansiba had any complaints, she should have raised them within the actors’ association AMMA instead of speaking to the media.

“Tini is someone who helps many people. He does a lot for the members of the organisation. It was while he was doing all these things for the members that we saw such news,” Priyanka said.

“We have always said that if there are any issues within AMMA, they should be resolved inside the organisation itself. If people start going to the media like this, then many of us will also have a lot to say,” she added.

Priyanka further said that she has known Tini Tom for many years as both her colleague and her husband’s colleague.

“We will not allow anyone to personally destroy a person like this. All of us will stand with Tini because a person who has done nothing wrong should not be punished like this,” she said.

Meanwhile, Tini Tom also responded to the controversy and denied Ansiba’s allegation that he called her a “jihadi.”

He said that disagreements can happen during stage shows, but he has never sent offensive messages to anyone. According to him, he only shares information with members and has never communicated in a disrespectful manner.
