‘No ACs in evening; Let power conservation start from KSEB offices,’ says chairman

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSEB Chairman M G Rajamanikyam has said that efforts to reduce electricity consumption during nighttime to tackle the power crisis, begin from KSEB offices themselves. He urged employees to lead by example before asking the public to control their power consumption. Only essential equipment and lights should be used in offices, and the use of air conditioners should be avoided after 6 pm. He also advised KSEB employees to avoid using air conditioners at homes between 6 pm and midnight. He also directed to avoid charging electric vehicles during this period.
