Actor Vishnu Prasad in serious condition, daughter ready to donate liver, family unable to raise money for transplant

KOCHI: Reports said film and serial actor Vishnu Prasad is in a critical condition. He is suffering from liver ailments. The actor will have to undergo a surgery which requires around Rs 30 lakhs.

The actor’s daughter is ready to donate her liver. The family is unable to raise money for liver transplant and they are trying their best to raise money for the treatment. ATMA, the association of Malayalam Television Media Artists, has given a small amount of emergency assistance. ATMA's vice president Mohan Ayiroor told a media that they are planning to collect some more money from the members of the association.

Actor Kishore Satya responded that Vishnu Prasad’s sister informed them about his condition. ATMA is not an organization with a large fund. He also clarified that the members who are able to contribute should provide some more money. Vishnu Prasad has acted in many films including Mambazhakalam and Runway. He has two daughters.
