THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala government revoked the suspension of IAS officers B Ashok and N Prasanth. Prasanth was suspended for the past two years, and Ashok for the last one and a half months. Chief Minister V D Satheesan signed the order to withdraw both suspensions. With this, both Prasanth and Ashok will return to service soon.

Prasanth was suspended by the LDF government for criticising Chief Secretary Dr A Jayathilak on social media. Ashok's suspension came after he gave an interview criticising Pinarayi Vijayan and the activities of the previous LDF government.

Ashok was blamed for tarnishing the government in public.
