Speaker A N Shamseer defends ADGP's meeting with RSS leaders, dismisses phone hacking allegations

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speaker A N Shamseer has defended the meeting between ADGP M.R. Ajith Kumar and RSS leaders, stating that the RSS is a prominent organization in the country. Shamseer clarified that the senior police officer met with the RSS leader at the request of a friend and that there was no reason to read too much into the meeting. He emphasized that no irregularities were involved.

Shamseer also dismissed Anwar’s allegations of ministers' phones being hacked, calling them mere rumours. He expressed doubt that such incidents could occur within the government system. In a light-hearted remark, Shamseer teased that the media seemed to have a fascination with Anwar.
