Temple, monument dedicated to Chattampi Swami to come up in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A temple dedicated to the great yogi Chattampi Swami will be constructed at Kannammoola in Thiruvananthapuram district. Apart from the temple, a centre for studies and research will also be constructed near the sage's birthplace in the city. The centre will offer research on various topics such as art, literature and spirituality.
The temple and the research centre will be constructed next to Chattampi Swami's birthplace 'Ulloorkodu Veedu' by NSS Thiruvananthapuram Taluk Union. The temple has been designed by Sunil Prasad as per Vastu shastra. A bronze statue of Swami will be installed in the temple.
A research centre will have a library that comprises literary works of Chattampi Swami and the studies regarding them.
