THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC chief K Sudhakaran said that a case should be taken against the CPM leaders on Swapna Suresh’s revelations. He asked whether sexual assaults like in CPM had happened in any other party. He also asked why the leaders are not responding. Meantime, Sudhakaran said action will be taken in the case against Eldhose Kunnappillil after holding talks with senior leaders and only after examining the MLA’s explanation.

'Is there any law and order in this country? Haven’t the police station itself turned a semi-concentration camp? Police stations were just jails back in the days of fascism and is the same today. Any innocent person who goes to the police station comes back injured. They are simply beaten. Has anyone been subjected to law other than a transfer at most? Therefore, the police officers are not ready to correct their mistake or not to repeat it. This is not the first incident in the communist party. Sexual assaults like the one in CPM have never happened in any other party, but now they behave well. Swapna’s revelations are with evidences. Didn’t we respond when the issue of Eldhose came to light, did their party do that it? If a case can be taken against Eldhose then a case should be taken against them on Swapna’s revelations. A law is the same for everyone, said Sudhakaran.
