Youth missing for a month after Kodaikanal trip with friends; family hits out at police 

PALAKKAD: A youth who went missing while going on a trip to Kodaikanal with his friends has not been found for more than a month. Vishnu (31) of Thachampara at Mannarkkad in Palakkad, has gone missing.

Vishnu went missing on June 30. An action committee has been formed under the leadership of the locals to intensify efforts to find Vishnu. Locals said that despite complaining to many including the chief minister, there has been no significant progress. A team of five police officers has been assigned to find the youth.

Friends have also left for Kodaikanal along with his family to search. The family alleged that the investigation by the Tamil Nadu Police is not intensive.
