Haripad native and Bengaluru Malayali die in tragic car accident in Canada

ALAPPUZHA: A Haripad native and another Malayali died in a tragic car accident near Parry Sound in Canada. Arjun Jinachandran (30), a native of Haripad Muttam, died in the accident that took place near Parry Sound in Canada on Saturday morning. The vehicle in which Arjun and his group were travelling met with an accident. Arjun's wife, Vanitha, had arrived in Canada two months ago.

Along with Arjun, Bengaluru Malayali Sarin Sam also died in the accident. There were five people in the car at the time of the accident. The group were working in the country after completing their studies. Meanwhile, friends and other organisations have started a GoFundMe campaign to collect money for the mortal remains to be brought to Kerala.

The tragic death of the duo, who flew to Canada with high hopes of upending their career, left the whole community and their friends in shock.
