MUMBAI: An accident happened after a huge Ganesh idol toppled onto devotees amid heavy rain. The incident happened in Maharashtra’s Palghar district. The idol was being taken to a pandal ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi when it suddenly fell. Several devotees were trapped underneath the idol, but fortunately, no one sustained serious injuries.
The accident occurred Saturday evening in Nalasopara West.
